About this scholarship
Delaware's Fostering Independence Through Education waiver covers tuition, fees, and — where offered — room and board at the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, and Delaware Tech for students who spent time in state custody.
Who can apply
Students who aged out of Delaware DSCYF custody at 18, exited to guardianship or adoption at age 16 or older, or spent at least 12 months in custody between ages 14 and 18. Available to students under age 26.
