About this scholarship
The Tennessee HOPE Foster Child Tuition Grant covers the cost of attendance, less other gift aid, at eligible Tennessee colleges for students who spent time in state custody after age 13.
Who can apply
Students who were in Tennessee state custody after age 13, were adopted from state custody after age 13, or entered permanent guardianship after age 13. Students must enroll within four years of high school graduation and can receive the grant for up to six years.
