About this scholarship
The AFFCF Post-Secondary Scholarship funds tuition and fees for young people who aged out of foster care in Arizona and wish to attend a university or community college. Four-year university applicants can receive up to $5,000 per calendar year; community college applicants up to $2,000 per calendar year. Scholarships are renewable each semester.
Who can apply
Young people who aged out of foster care in Arizona attending a university or community college with at least six credit hours. Applicants submit the post-secondary scholarship application with a letter of recommendation, most recent transcript or GED certificate, FAFSA Submission Summary and class schedule. Spring 2027 application period: November 1-30, 2026.
Every scholarship in this directory is exclusively for current or former foster youth. Read the sponsor’s own eligibility rules before you start — they decide who qualifies.

- 2. Gather your documents. Use the checklist to the side so you are not scrambling at the last minute.
