About this scholarship
New Mexico waives tuition and fees at state colleges, community colleges, and technical and vocational institutes for students who were in state or tribal custody. The waiver is listed among CYFD's Fostering Connections benefits.
Who can apply
Students who were in the legal custody of New Mexico CYFD, or a tribal equivalent, on or after their 14th birthday. Students must enroll before their 25th birthday.
