About this scholarship
Alabama's Fostering Hope Scholarship pays tuition and required fees at Alabama public colleges for students who were in foster care or kinship guardianship when they finished high school.
Who can apply
Students who were in Alabama foster care or kinship guardianship at high school graduation or GED completion, or were adopted from Alabama foster care after age 14. Applicants must have personal assets under $30,000.
Every scholarship in this directory is exclusively for current or former foster youth. Read the sponsor’s own eligibility rules before you start — they decide who qualifies.
