About this scholarship

The University of Alaska waives tuition across its campuses for students who were in Alaska foster care. The university's Office of Youth Empowerment helps eligible students apply.

Who can apply

Students who were in the custody of the Alaska Office of Children's Services or in foster care on or after their 16th birthday, are not yet 21, and hold at least a 2.0 GPA.
