About this scholarship

Maryland waives tuition and fees at Maryland public colleges and universities for youth who were placed in foster care by the state. Students apply through their school's financial aid office.

Who can apply

Youth who were placed in an out-of-home placement by the Maryland Department of Human Services. The waiver can be used for up to ten years.
