About this scholarship
The Bravo Scholarship Program supports students who spent time in the foster care system with funds for tuition, textbooks, and class-related fees at accredited post-secondary programs. Applications are reviewed twice a year: July 1 for the fall semester and November 15 for the winter semester.
Who can apply
Open to students nationwide who can demonstrate that they spent time in the foster care system. Applicants must be 26 or younger at the start of the school term and enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program.
Every scholarship in this directory is exclusively for current or former foster youth. Read the sponsor’s own eligibility rules before you start — they decide who qualifies.
How to submit your application
- 1. Check the deadline. Sunday, November 15, 2026.
- 2. Gather your documents. Use the checklist to the side so you are not scrambling at the last minute.
- 3. Open the sponsor’s application. The button below takes you straight to Bravo Programs of America. Your application is submitted there, directly to them.
- 4. Save your confirmation. Keep the confirmation email or reference number, and follow up with the sponsor if you do not hear back.
