About this scholarship
The NJFC Scholars Program provides educational assistance to eligible New Jersey foster and homeless youth through two funding sources: a tuition and fee waiver at public New Jersey colleges, universities and vocational schools, and federal Education and Training Voucher assistance of up to $5,000 per academic year for books, supplies, tuition, fees, room and board, and computers.
Who can apply
Eligibility depends on the student's New Jersey foster care case history and is determined by the program. The 2026-2027 application opens in April.
Every scholarship in this directory is exclusively for current or former foster youth. Read the sponsor’s own eligibility rules before you start — they decide who qualifies.
