About this scholarship

Maine waives tuition at Maine public colleges and universities for students in or adopted from foster care. The waiver covers up to five years and applications are first-come, first-served.

Who can apply

Students in Maine's foster care program, adopted from foster care, or who are a minor ward of a subsidized permanency guardian.

Every scholarship in this directory is exclusively for current or former foster youth. Read the sponsor’s own eligibility rules before you start — they decide who qualifies.
