About this scholarship
Oklahoma waives resident tuition at state colleges and universities for students who spent time in state custody as teenagers, under the Independent Living Act.
Who can apply
Students who were in Oklahoma Department of Human Services custody for at least nine months between ages 16 and 18. The waiver must be started within three years of high school graduation and is available up to age 26 or completion of a bachelor's degree.
