About this scholarship

$500 per semester, for up to 8 semesters ($4,000 total), for students who spent time in Vermont foster care. Deadlines each year: April 30 (summer), July 31 (fall), December 31 (spring).

Who can apply

Students who were in Vermont foster care (DCF custody) at any time during their youth, regardless of age or length of care. Must reapply each semester.

Every scholarship in this directory is exclusively for current or former foster youth. Read the sponsor’s own eligibility rules before you start — they decide who qualifies.
