About this scholarship
Vermont's VSAC administers grants for students who experienced foster care, funded through the state's trust fund for DCF custody students, supporting degree study at Vermont colleges.
Who can apply
Students who are or were in the custody of the Vermont Department for Children and Families, including young adults ages 18 to 24 who were in DCF custody for at least six months between ages 16 and 18. Funds support study at Vermont State Colleges, the University of Vermont, or Vermont independent colleges.
Every scholarship in this directory is exclusively for current or former foster youth. Read the sponsor’s own eligibility rules before you start — they decide who qualifies.
