About this scholarship
West Virginia waives tuition and fees at state public colleges, after other aid is applied, for students who graduated while in foster or residential care. The waiver covers up to four years of undergraduate study.
Who can apply
Students who graduated from high school or earned a GED while in West Virginia DHHR custody, after at least one year in foster or residential care before graduation. Students must apply within two years of graduation.
