About this scholarship
Utah law provides a full resident tuition waiver at all Utah System of Higher Education institutions for students who were wards of the state in long-term foster care. Students apply through their institution's financial aid office; the linked state law sets the rules.
Who can apply
Students ages 17 to 26 who were wards of the state with a long-term foster care permanency goal and were in custody for at least 24 months. Students must apply before age 22.
Every scholarship in this directory is exclusively for current or former foster youth. Read the sponsor’s own eligibility rules before you start — they decide who qualifies.
